This Saturday, January 21st, 2012, TEDxManhattan will put forth the second annual “Changing the Way We Eat” symposium.
Last year’s program featured a host of interesting and inspiring perspectives about the food system and how it can be made better. This year’s agenda seems equally ambitious. As Chair of Slow Money NYC, I am looking forward to attending in person. Ideas are the fuel for making positive change.
Seats are limited on site, however, you can watch a Live Stream solo or at one of the viewing parties all over the region, including a gathering hosted by Brooklyn Food Coalition at its offices located at 33 Flatbush Avenue. Or, you can watch this informational video about how you might host your own viewing party.
To get a flavor for the format and power of a TEDxAsheville talk, take a look at this 11 year old boy talking about “What’s Wrong with the Food System?” See you Saturday!
