Slow Money NYC’s Jeffersonian dinners are intended to build and strengthen the community of investors in local, sustainable food businesses, who are contributing to change our dysfunctional food system. The Jeffersonian dinners also enable us to explore questions related to these investments while sharing a delicious, locally sourced meal.
Theme: What role do restaurants play in our food system and in our communities?
Date: Tuesday, March 2
Time: 6:30-9:00
Networking and drinks: 6:30-7:15 *cash bar
Dinner: 7:15 - 9:00
Location: Egg Restaurant
Cost: $100*
*Covers the cost of dinner, served family style. Please consider an additional donation to Slow Money NYC to help cover administrative costs and support our programming.
Up to 16 guests, space is limited!
The format of the Jeffersonian Dinner is casual with only one rule: There shall be a single conversation involving the entire table. As pre-work, every participant should think of an investment opportunity they have encountered where the theme question was relevant. We will begin our dinner conversation around these experiences and see where the conversation takes us. To conclude, we will ensure each participant has a chance to share their final thoughts.
We look forward to seeing you at our SMNYC Jeffersonian Dinner series, for a delicious dinner and a vibrant conversation.
