Jeffersonian Dinners are a series of dinners aimed to strengthen the community interested in investing in small, sustainable food businesses. These dinners will also enable us to explore questions related to these investments while sharing a delicious, locally sourced meal.

A theme will be determined prior to each dinner. For example, at our first Jeffersonian Dinner, the theme was focused around this question: Does a business seeking investors need an exit strategy?

The format of the Jeffersonian Dinner is casual with only one rule: There shall be a single conversation involving the entire table. As pre-work, every participant should think of an investment opportunity they have encountered where the theme question was relevant. We will begin our dinner conversation around these experiences and see where the conversation takes us. To conclude, we will ensure each participant has a chance to share their final thoughts.
